Ikigai Experience

Ten days aboard Ikigai in San Blas — a concentrate of authentic, essential and regenerating life: freediving, yoga, slow sailing and transformative practices with our multidisciplinary instructors.

Introduction

Every proposed activity is highly recommended , but never mandatory. The invitation is to step out of your comfort zone, try new experiences, and strengthen your discipline — while also listening deeply to your body and its needs. This experience is designed to help you explore the balance between commitment and listening , between discipline and freedom. No expectations, no performance — just the opportunity to reconnect with yourself, others, and the natural rhythm of life.

Daily Routine Morning (approx. 1h30)

Each day begins with a guided session that may include:

  • Conscious breathing techniques
  • Dynamic or restorative yoga flows
  • Seated or moving meditation
  • Rotating physical sessions (Tabata bodyweight workout or boxing basics) All sessions adapt to group energy and weather.__

Evening: End the day with activities focused on introspection, relaxation, and regeneration , including:

  • Sunset yoga
  • Meditation
  • Silent or circle sharing (depending on the group and location)__

Free Time: Breaks between activities are intentionally left open — for rest, reading, swimming, silence, or spontaneous moments. There’s nothing to do but be.

Life on Board & Food

Food is at the heart of life on Ikigai. We blend what the sea provides with what we trade from the Guna community:

  • Fresh lobster
  • Tropical fruits
  • Local vegetables

We fish when possible and prepare creative dishes: carpaccio, tartare, sashimi , and more. Sharing meals is sacred. You’re welcome to join in the preparation — in full community spirit, no obligation.

Important Note

The program may be adjusted based on:

  • Weather and sea conditions
  • Logistical factors
  • Group dynamics

Every change aims to preserve the safety and quality of the experience.
